For now, we pay $5 for summaries and analysis of poems and $15 for summaries and analysis of prose or plays.

Contributors residing in Nigeria are paid in the local currency into their bank accounts directly while contributors outside Nigeria are paid in US dollars via PayPal or Electronic Wire Transfer (EWT).

No, you don't have to. However, when your first submission has been approved, paid for and published, we'll give you a lifetime free account that will enable you to publish your future submissions directly on our site and get paid after evaluation.

Yes,  you can only if it was not published on the internet and you must cite the source of the printed edition accordingly.

It all depends on how much time and effort you devote to your writing career. On the average, you can make up to $100 monthly writing summary and analysis of poems or $200 on prose or plays.

The minimum is 1000 words for summary and analysis of poems and 3000 words for summary and analysis of prose or play text. There is no maximum limit.

You'll still be able to write for us but you won't be able to read exclusive content on the site until you've renewed your membership subscription. However, we'll deduct a month membership subscription from your payment that falls due within the period of your inactive subscription and pay you the balance.

Affiliates

As an affiliate, you’ll receive 50% of membership fee for each member you refer to join Afrinotes i.e. for every member you refer to Afrinotes, you’ll receive $1 for daily members, $2.5 for weekly members, $5 for monthly members and $25 for yearly members.

Yes, you have to. This is because Afrinotes is for serious affiliates but not for go-getters who surf the internet for fun. Moreover, we can't track your referrals if you don't have an account with us.

Again, you can't promote what you don't understand. You have to register and learn how the system works before you can explain it to your prospective referrals.
